Chevrolet Performance LT4 6.2L supercharged wet sump crate engines are engineered for supremacy. These powerhouses are the heart of the Corvette Z06 and feature 1.7L Eaton R1740 TVS superchargers spinning up to 20,000 rpm–enough to generate more than 9 lbs. of boost, along with big horsepower and torque. These LT4 long blocks have several unique features designed to support their higher output and the greater cylinder pressures created by forced induction. They include Rotocast A356 T-6 aluminum cylinder heads that are stronger and handle heat better than conventional castings, lightweight titanium intake valves, and stronger forged aluminum pistons.
