This is a step nosed camshaft for use in 1986-2002 roller blocks with cam retainer plate. If used with a 1995-1997 LT1 with vented Optispark, the dowel pin will need to be removed and replaced with one that protrudes .650 in. to drive the Optispark. Computer tuning required. Designed for engines swapped into pre-pollution controlled vehicles. Not for use in registered emissions-controlled vehicles operated on public highways and roads.
