The improved design of these Hurst shifter cables incorporates a solid core with helical lay wires wrapped around it for additional strength and durability. Hurst cables have a 303 stainless steel inner wire with 120,000 psi tensile strength. The cores are lubricated with Teflon prior to assembly and then sealed in a heavy plastic outer casing for a lifetime of durability and smooth operation.
