to check your build date look on your inTune or inTune DCX product box for a white date code sticker that will display a month and year (Example 03-13). This sticker is right above the bar code and serial number on your inTune product box.

NOTE: Using this inTune replacement cable on an inTune built before the 03-13 build date could cause damage to the OBD-II connection on your inTune device. If you are not sure which model you have and I-1000-DCX “”ipod”” style connector. This cable works for all inTune i2 products.
