Description
Solo Performance is proud to introduce its 2015+ Challenger Hellcat, Scat Pack, SRT-8, 3″ catback stainless steel exhaust kit. We have worked very hard to engineer this exhaust kit that not only sounds incredible but is drone free. Raw American muscle on the outside and a refined, non-invasive performance exhaust note on the inside. The dramatic sound difference from outside to inside is accomplished by months of research and development plus specific product design. Fit, form, and function are the cornerstones of our Solo Performance SRT, Hellcat, Scat Pack exhaust kits. The Mach-Shorty-XV kit offers a free flow 60’s muscle car sound and the Mach-Shorty kit is louder than our Mach-XV kit. ( Solo Street Race – no muffler – is the loudest ) The Mach-Shorty-XV exhaust kit offers a short 11” long X-Muffler. The Hellcat Mach-Shorty-XV is an aggressive, deep and much louder than the stock exhaust note. There are actuator exhaust valves in the stock exhaust that cannot be eliminated without triggering an engine light. We include a prepaid return box for these valves to be sent back to us so that we can rebuild them to fit into our exhaust kit. We have a short 7” straight stainless steel piece that has a flange on the front and a clamp connection at the back that goes right after the front muffler assembly and in front of the tailpipe assembly. Just install this piece while you send your stock actuator exhaust valves back to us and you can drive it worry free. Once we receive the valves we will rebuild them within the day and send them back to you. Once you get the rebuilt valves they will fit perfectly into the 7” area mentioned above. It will be the exact same flange and clamp connection. The tailpipe assembly comes with Solo’s tunable J-Pipes. These J-pipes are capped off on the end, and as the sound waves enter the J-pipe they bottom out on the end cap and bounce back. Upon the sound wave re-entering the exhaust flow, it collides with the specific Challenger drone frequency and cancels it out. *Free flowing exhaust with J pipes already welded on and preset to eliminate drone. They tuck up and out of sight on each side.
Exhaust Valves
* We will provide a return labeled box. Cut the valves out of your OEM kit, send them to us using the provided return labeled box, we will modify, ship back, and you simply reinstall in place of a small section in the kit. You will have a CEL until you reinstall the valves modified by us. The CEL will go off on its own after 3-4 drive cycles.
* Provide a quieter note (still more aggressive than stock) when closed, and insane, angry note when open…best of both worlds.
